Brian was born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland where he started playing the sax and guitar at a young age. After playing locally in various bands, he moved out west at age 21 to the thriving Portland, Oregon music scene where Brian spent 10 years. While enjoying the eclectic and rich musical landscapes in P-Town, he studied jazz guitar at Portland State University under the legendary Jerry Hahn who is best known for his time with Gary Burton, John Handy, and recording with Paul Simon on his first solo album. Brian also had the

tremendous pleasure of studying under jazz great Darrell Grant at PSU.

Brian is now based in the Cleveland area where he is performing solo jazz guitar sets as well as performing with various Cleveland area musical projects of all styles. He is also enjoying his time as a private music instructor.
